Artist Statement

I am an intuitive painter, deeply inspired by nature and the ever-changing beauty of my garden. My work reflects the energy, color, and vibrancy of spring and summer, bringing to life bold, expressive landscapes and whimsical, dynamic florals that embody love, loss, and joy. Using vivid, striking colors, I strive to capture movement and the raw essence of nature. My process is layered and fluid—I often wipe away and restart, allowing the underpainting to merge as part of the final piece. This organic approach creates unexpected moments, where past and present brushstrokes intertwine, adding depth and spontaneity to each painting.
